I am a beauty photographer living and working in sunny Los Angeles, CA. I grew up in the suburbs of Reno, NV, where being surrounded by casinos was the norm. Although most people associate Reno with the show Reno 911 (which I’ve never watched), I called it home for most my life.
I relocated to Los Angeles in 2010 to attend Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Living in Los Angeles was always my dream growing up, because winters in Reno were always too harsh. I packed up and moved here with my dreams at my fingertips. I graduated with Honors from Art Center College of Design with a BFA in 2014, and was a recipient of the Wallis Annenberg Scholarship.
I am a seeker of beauty. I am in love with the elegance of women, of bright bold colors, and creating whimsical images. I photograph how I feel. If it’s autumn and I feel quiet, like how the leaves change and fall, that is something that I will portray in my photographs. It’s hard to get away from how I feel, so I use that to my advantage. Sometimes I can only think about producing images that are dark and sultry, or fun and colorful. Photography is how I express myself, because sometimes I can’t find the right words.
